Podcast - Eating Mindfully

HolisticGuru joins us again to fix more bad nutrition habits.  This time, she gives us eight tips on how to eat mindfully.

Eating mindfully deals with the fact that most of us simply shovel calories down without thinking about quality or quantity.  Ever sit in front of the TV and make a bag of chips disappear?  Yeah, now you know what we're talking about.

My interview with her is after a short bit where I take you with me on a bike ride.  I talk a little about time trials, hitting 38.4 mph with my kid on the back of the bike, and the Paleo diet.  It's good stuff.  Especially because I get chased by a dog.

Next week's show has an interview with pro triathlete John Hirsch.  Stay tuned!

Writing to say that I visited your blog and I listen to every podcast on runs and when I can, but especially on runs. Also I wanted you to know I gave eating mindfully a try today and taking my time and just take a break. Man My day was all together different after that. Look forward to more time to practice this very important skill. Good Luck on the time trials and an food that I often wonder about is fast food burgers, Where does it all come from? Love the show

You must take a picture of you and Kai on the TT rig and post it! I have had good intentions to eat mindfully but must admit I usually eat on the run. I'll keep trying-it's good advise. I love the podcast been a listener since the triathlete's garage days.
